This explains what iPaddock collects, why, and who else sees it. It covers iPaddock and the site at ipaddock.net.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Arnau Mas i Hernandes (49644806L), trading as iPaddock, Ctra. Nova, 38, 08530 La Garriga, Barcelona, Spain. Contact: support@ipaddock.net.

What we collect

  • Account — your email address, a display name, a handle, and your time zone. A password is stored only as a hash; we never see it.
  • Profile, if you sell — whatever you choose to publish: bio, headline, avatar, banner, languages, self-declared iRating and iRacing customer ID.
  • Purchases and bookings — what you bought or booked, when, and for how much.
  • Files you upload — setups and telemetry, plus what we read out of them to tag a listing (car, track, recording date).
  • Technical records — IP address and user agent on sign-in, purchases, downloads and abuse reports. On a purchase we keep it to spot card fraud, and it is never sent to anyone else. Where we keep an address only to count requests, it is stored as a keyed hash rather than the address itself.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and there is no third-party cookie on this site. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

Card details

We never receive them. Payments run through Stripe, which collects card data on its own systems; iPaddock stores only Stripe’s identifiers for a payment, the amount, and the last few digits Stripe chooses to show us. Nobody at iPaddock can see a full card number, and no card number passes through this site.

Who else processes it

  • Stripe — payments, payouts and seller identity verification. Sellers verify their identity directly with Stripe; their bank details never reach us.
  • Neon — the database, hosted in the EU.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and file storage. The storage bucket is EU-jurisdiction, so uploaded files stay in the EU.
  • Resend — sending the emails you get from us, on their EU region.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone outside that list except where the law requires it.

What sellers and buyers see of each other

A seller or coach has a public profile: display name, handle, avatar, banner, bio, ratings and reviews. A buyer does not, because buying something does not create a public page. When you buy from a seller or book a coach, they see your handle and display name so they know who they are dealing with, and coaching bookings share the times you chose. The files you download carry nothing that identifies you.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while the account exists. Records of transactions are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. For EU digital sales that includes evidence of where a customer was, for ten years.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, from your account page. It is not immediate. The account is locked straight away. You are signed out everywhere, your devices are disconnected, and anything you sell comes off the site. Thirty days later your name, email address, password, profile, pictures and iRacing link are erased. Your driver card and any team adverts you posted are deleted outright at the same time, rather than emptied, because no financial record depends on them. You can cancel at any point inside those thirty days by signing in again. After that it cannot be undone, and you lose access to everything you bought.

What stays is the record of money that moved. Orders, refunds, payouts and tax records are kept for the ten years described above, because the law requires them and that is one of the exceptions the GDPR itself makes. Nothing left in those records names you. Reviews and messages you wrote also stay, because they belong to the conversation and to the people who relied on them; they are shown as written by a deleted user.

Some things are not ours to delete. Stripe keeps its own record of payments, and of the identity checks a seller went through, under its own legal obligations as a payments company.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of anything wrong, deletion within the limits above, or a machine-readable export. Email support@ipaddock.net. Deletion you can also do yourself, as described above.
